Donate via Planned Giving
A donation made through planned giving provides benefits to both the donor and the organization as it allows donors to leave a legacy of support for the Council. Some examples of planned giving include:
- a contribution of stock, bonds, or other types of securities,
- a gift of real estate or personal property,
- a gift of oil and gas royalty payments,
- a gift given through your retirement plan as a beneficiary of the remainder of your IRA, tax-sheltered annuity or qualified pension-sharing plan after you have passed away,
- a gift as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, and
- a gift by naming Camp Fire USA Heart of Oklahoma in your will.
Many tax advantages are afforded a donor who donates via planned giving. To donate via planned giving, please consult your financial advisor or attorney to initiate the process.
Should you prefer to give via planned giving, please contact the Heart of Oklahoma Council offices at (405) 478-5646, and we will work with you or your financial representative to expedite the process.
