Magazine Sale

Although a smaller fundraiser than the Candy Sale, the Heart of Oklahoma’s annual Magazine Sale brings in important programming support because 40% of every subscription sold goes directly to the Council.  Youth members sell magazine subscriptions door to door and to friends and family to raise money and earn prizes.  Magazine subscriptions can also be purchased online to help the Council.

Even though the official Magazine Sale happens in October in November (exact dates vary), the Council still benefits from subscriptions sold year round at the following link: www.qsp.com. Simply Click Shop Now and use School Organization # is 1176636. Click Shop Now again and find the magazines you would like to purchase. After making your choices, click Check Out. It’s that easy to help the Heart of Oklahoma Council year-round.

Every year in conjunction with the magazine sale, Heart of Oklahoma offers the project “Be a Reader” which offers youth members the chance to earn emblems for completing several small projects involving reading.  Through the magazine sale and “Be a Reader”, Camp Fire helps encourage youth to read!
